What's happening at On-Aire

 

Our new little star, Splash won the 6-9 classes at Wine Country on 11/8 and 11/9 and went Best Puppy on 11/9. Splash ( On-Aire Up To No Good) is the daughter of our Scandal (On-Aire Notes on a Scandal) and our boy Bandit (Two Willow Bandit). Spash is a happy and outgoing little tri girl and her attitude and showmanship will get her noticed in the show ring.

Ch. On-Aire Hot Off The Press (Miles) has recived his invitation to the Eukanuba National Championship. We could not be more proud of this young, home-bred, champion.

LaRen's Enjoy the Night (Joy) has been bred to our Ch. On-Aire Hot Off The Press (Miles). Joy is a red sable girl who has AKC Points and will finish her Championship after her maternal duties. Miles is a tri male and his winning record speaks for itself. Joy was bred by Janis McLaren of LaRen Papillons and is a beautiful girl with a charming personality and fun and loving ways, Miles is an athletic, intelligent and very willing boy who loves to play and retrieve and loves everyone he meets. This litter will combine the top bloodlines in the country for top show potential pups, eager and highly trainable Agility or Obedience dogs and loving and intelligent family companions. Both parents have OFA cleared Patellas and eye clearances. Early reservations suggested for this very exciting litter due in late October and going home after the Holidays. Watch for our newest little bombshell in the ring with her handler and friend Ellen Cottingham soon. On-Aire Up To No Good (Splash) is ready to strut her stuff in about a month. This little tri colored girl is a daughter of our girl On-Aire Notes on a Scandal (Scandal). Scandal is a sister to our top 25 placed Champion On-Aire Hot Off The Press (Miles). Splash's sire is Two Willow Bandit. We are looking forward to another generation of type and correct Papillon winners in 2009. Splash is owned by On-Aire Papillons.

We hav a new Champion!! Ch. On-Aire Royal Keepsake (Trinket) finished her American Championship title on 9/28 at the Bonanza Kennel Club show. She finished with her third major a very short show career!! Trinket is bred by On-Aire Papillons and Ellen Cottingham and owned by Ellen Cottingham of Hi-Ho Kennels and Billie Berthias. We are so proud of little Trinket as is her owner and co-owner. Fantastic finish!!

Our winning puppy On-Aire Royal Keepsake (Trinket) who is a daughter of Ch. Queen Bless JP Royal Silk and our Ch. Foxfire's Dance On-Aire went WB for two points in Oregon and then picked up her second major at the Sierra Nevada Papillon Club Specialty giving her 11 points and both majors from the 12-18 month class. Mother and Daughter really did well at this Specialty.


Ch. Foxfire's Dance On-Aire (Dancer) went Best Opposite sex at the Sierra Nevada Papillon Club Specialty on 9/26/08 and again on 9/29/08 at the Bonanza K.C. show.

Ch. Foxfire's Dance On-Aire (Dancer) in her first Specials class since completing her American Championship with a Winners, Best of Winners and Best Of Opposite Sex.

On 9/9 On-Aire Royal Keepsake (Trinket) went WB at the McKenzie/Cascade Kennel Club.

(Dancer) is the newest CHAMPION at On-Aire Papillons at the Eugene Kennel Club on 9/7.
On-Aire Royal Keepsake (Trinket) took 1st place in the 12-18 month class.

At the Eugene Kennel Club on 9/6 On-Aire Royal Keepsake (Trinket) went RWB from the 12-18 class Foxfire's Dance On-Aire (Dancer) Trinkets Mom went WB.

Foxfire's Dance On-Aire (Dancer) won 2 more points in Santa Barbara and just needs two single points to complete her American Championship. Dancer's son

(Jesse) began his show career with Winners Dog and Best Of Opposite Sex wins in Santa Rosa at Mensona Kennel Club show on 8/17.

Foxfire's Dance On-Aire (Dancer) wins WB/BOS for another 4 point major. This makes 11 points all majors in 3 days for Dancer. Not to be outdone, Dancer's daughter, On-Aire Royal Keepsake (Trinket) went RWB to her mother and Ch. On-Aire Hot Off The Press (Miles) went B.O.B and his Mom, Dancer took B.O.S. to her son. What a family sweep! The family now goes to Montana for 3 days of more majors and a possible super fast finish for our Dancer who just needs 4 points now to finish her American Title. Whew!!

Foxfire's Dance On-Aire

picked up her second major in the same week and is well on her way to her Championship title. Dancer is the daughter of Ch. (Cera) and the mother of Ch. On-Aire Hot Off The Press (Miles). Soon to be 3 generations of On-Aire Champions. Dancer's youngest daughter On-Aire Royal Keepsake (Trinket) is out and competitive at this time too. She is still in the puppy classes and has gone RWB several times over adult girls. We expect little Trinket to join the winning On-Aire Champions in the near future. Our new group is looking good at 9 weeks old. These three "Good" Papillons show promise as winners in Agility, Obedience and the Conformation Ring. The girls are: On-Aire Up T' No Good (Splash), On-Aire- Up Town Girl (Dottie) and our boy On-Aire Up in Smoke (Zeus) are happy, outgoing and active as well as beautiful. Watch for these kids in the ring in the future.

Ch. On-Aire Hot Off The Press (Miles) has qualified for the Eukanuba Invitational Show in December. Quite a feat for a 19 month old dog who just finished his Championship a couple of months ago. Miles is now number 17 on the list of the top 25 Papillons in the country.

Scandal had three pups (1 boy and 2 girls) on April 13th 2008.
Both Scandal and her pups are doing great.

Miles Ch. On-Aire Hot Off The Press takes yet another BOB at the Sacramento Kennel Club dog show.

Our little Miles is now Ch. On-Aire Hot Off The Press. Miles finished his title in a big way by taking Winners Dog, Best Of Winners and then Best Of Breed over other top Champions to finish with style. Miles is just 16 months old and has successfully completed his Championship title over older Papillon males. Way to go, Miles! Ch. Miles continued his winning ways the next day by going Best Of Breed again . These wonderful wins were at the Seattle Kennel Club shows 3/8 and 3/9. Watch for Miles in the Specials ring this spring. He has done his Mom, Foxfire Dance On-Aire (Dancer) and his late Dad Ch. Cadaga Good Press proud at such a young age.

Our newest kids are coming to show rings this spring and summer. They are Royal and Ready. Watch for On-Aire Royal Court Jester, On-Aire Royal Keepsake, and On-Aire King's Ransom who are the offspring of Ch. Queen Bless JP Royal Silk and our top producing girl Dancer.


On-Aire Headline News (Pete) has complete the requirements for Certified Therapy Dog from Paws for Healing and is now hard at work making patients feel better and representing the breed as a caring and intelligent companion and helper. Congratulations to Pete's owner, Jennifer Vaughn for loving and sharing Pete with those who need his special talents.

Foxfire's No Monkey Business (Marcel) took Winners Dog on 9/9 at Redwood Empire K.C. for a point, good win for Marcel. Our new Papillon girl, Steneko Sheza Kick (Kiko) won her 9-12 class both days at Redwood Empire K.C.

On-Aire Hot Off The Press (Miles) won Winner's Dog at the McKenzie K.C on 9/6 for another point and again at Eugene K.C. on 9/8 for 2 points. Good for little Miles and he is still in Puppy Classes.

 

The kids at On-Aire Papillons spent the weekend (8/17/07 - 0/19/07) at the Mensona Kennel Club Dog Show. They did well and we are very proud of them.

Foxfire Dances On Aire (Dancer) is tied down with the 4 kids right now, but she is expecting to be relieved of maternal duties soon to romp and run with the rest of the Papillons in her family. Dancer has 3 boys (2 black and white and one sable ) and one little girl (black and white). They are sired by that beautiful Best In Show boy. Ch. Queen Bless JP Royal Silk. Dancer is the mother of our On-Aire Headline News (Miles) who is winning his way through the ring at this time. We can hardly wait until this litter is up and playing . They should be wonderful show dogs, agility prospects as well as loving and intelligent companions. There are 2 boys available in this litter at this time. Top bloodlines and great socialization will make these pups a great addition to a performance or companion home.
 
 

On-Aire Hot Off the Press (Miles) continues his wonderful puppy career in the show ring. He just turned 9 months old and move up to the 9-12 month puppy classes. Miles has won or placed in every 6-9 month puppy class and has gotten 3 points from puppy classes. He now has 5 Reserve Winners and 3 to major shows. Miles just took another Best Puppy and Group 2 at the Del Monte Kennel Club on 7/14 and 7/15. He is now headed to the Northwest for more shows. He also won his class at the Papillon Club of Southern California in heavy competition. Miles is looking good and showing like a pro and really turning heads wherever he shows.

On-Aire Headline News (Pete)has gotten a new family. He is now with
Jennifer Vaughn
in Vallejo with her Golden Retrievers. Pete should feel right at home as he was raised with our Golden herd. He is in training to become a Therapy
Dog with Paws for Healing in Vallejo. Pete should be good at that as he is a loving and kind hearted puppy. We look forward to hearing from Pete in his new career!
